I made this discovery after 20 days of waiting with no tracking status updates. Seller responded to my inquiry, which, while the lost ring was unfortunate, I greatly appreciated their help. eBay issued a full refund, so that proved eBay really does back their certified guarantee on items! Thank you eBay!
