Use the Biohazard Revival Selection game disc to install to the HDD and play the game, completing the full lineup of main canon Capcom Resident Evil games for the PlayStation 3 (PS3). Biohazard Revival Selection combines two popular games of the Biohazard or Resident Evil series not previously available on the PlayStation 3— Biohazard CODE: Veronica (Resident Evil Code: Veronica) and Biohazard 4 (Resident Evil 4). Resident Evil Code: Veronica is a classic survival horror game originally released for the SEGA Dreamcast. The story revolves around Claire Redfield as she searches for clues of her missing brother and dodges zombies, while uncovering startling evidence of Umbrella Corporation’s activities beyond Raccoon City. Play through half the game as Claire Redfield and the other half as her brother Chris in this engaging survival horror narrative. Known for its long and immersive story mode with plenty of scares and trademark creepy ambiance, the game remains a nostalgic favorite. Rely on limited actions such as attack, push, and climb while using weapons and items such as fire and acid against enemies vulnerable to them. Also examine items to find clues and advance the game by solving puzzles. The first Resident Evil game to feature 3-D backgrounds, Resident Evil Code: Veronica had a richness marking a distinct departure from older pre-rendered backgrounds. In Resident Evil 4, play as Leon S. Kennedy six years after the destruction of Raccoon City and the dissolution of Umbrella Corporation. Tasked with finding the President’s daughter and rescuing her from captors in Europe, take advantage of the game’s groundbreaking third-person perspective, which zooms in to an over-the-shoulder perspective to shoot. For the first time ever, aim at different parts of enemies’ bodies using a laser sight, seeing them react differently to differently placed hits, while also aiming and shooting at incoming projectiles in order to deflect them. Enjoy context-sensitive, arcade-style controls such as kicking down ladders, jumping through windows, dodging attacks and environmental hazards or finishing off weakened enemies with special moves. Come across many categories of weapons to fight off the hordes, from ranged to melee, and upgrade as required through the occasional merchant. Developed for the GameCube with a release date in 2005 before it was ported to the PS2, PC, and Wii, this version of the game benefits from HD graphics thanks to its basis on the Wii port. Completing the Resident Evil games collection for the PS3 with crisper visuals than ever before, the Blu-ray version of Biohazard Revival Selection from Japan is not one to be missed by fans of the series.
