Threads should be tapered really at end to ease assembly. Good job I don't have a swear box or I'd be bankrupt!

I contacted the supplier and they sent a replacement, the replacement arrived quickly and assembly was good. so my bird feeder is now up and in use, Thank you.:-)

I contacted the seller, whom kindly offered a very reasonable discount considering it was not really their fault in this circumstance, to save postage of the item back and all the hassle (and probably a negative review). I was impressed how quickly the matter was resolved to my satisfaction with no quibble. Great service. And partial refund made promptly too. I’d obviously have preferred no damage.
