It has been many decades since this film was last broadcasted on UK Freeview Television, so it is great to see it in DVD quality instead of the old tv-recorded VHS tape that I have been using. I am certainly glad that I have made this purchase!

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the video (480p) ... certainly better than the 240p versions currently found on You Tube. Don't expect DVD sharpness - it is more like VHS - and not very good VHS at that. The attached photo shows what you can expect - on the left it is the 480p version and on the right a 240p You Tube version (differences in brightness and contrast are due to my tweaks on the 240p file). As expected the 480p is visibly sharper.

Charles Farrell and Janet Gaynor star in Sunny Side Up, and the supporting cast were also fantastic (especially Marjorie White). This talkie/musical 1929 movie is over two hours long, which is unusual for films from this era. But I was very surprised that the picture quality was excellent for such an old movie. The package arrived in a little over a week. I ordered multiple DVDs, and each additional disc cost less than a dollar. Highly Recommended Seller!

Fresh burned copy of the original film with a small copy of the original label attached to disc.
