The story of the world's most famous mythical vampire is reimagined in the Universal Pictures movie 'Dracula Untold.' Luke Evans plays the role of Vlad Tepes, a prince and an elite warrior whose reputation earned him the nickname 'Vlad the Impaler.' When the Ottoman Empire sends him a demand for 1,000 boys to be conscripted into the Turk army, he offers himself in their place. Sultan Mehmed II, his former childhood friend, refuses, and escalates his demand to include Vlad's son. Vlad rebels and kills the Sultan's troops, ensuring a war that Vlad's armies cannot win. To save his people, he seeks to become a vampire in order to defeat the Sultan's forces. The DVD version of the movie, released in 2015, contains the widescreen edition and the English, French, and Spanish language versions. Subtitles in French and Spanish are also provided.
