Synopsis
Neil deGrasse Tyson is a rare breed of astrophysicist, one who can speak as easily and brilliantly with popular audiences as with professional scientists. Now that NASA has put human space flight effectively on hold--with a five- or possibly ten-year delay until the next launch of astronauts from U.S. soil--Tyson's views on the future of space travel and America's role in that future are especially timely and urgent. This book represents the best of Tyson's commentary, including a candid new introductory essay on NASA and partisan politics, giving us an eye-opening manifesto on the importance of space exploration for America's economy, security, and morale. Thanks to Tyson's fresh voice and trademark humor, his insights are as delightful as they are provocative, on topics that range from the missteps that shaped our recent history of space travel to how aliens, if they existed, might go about finding us ., Neil deGrasse Tyson is a rare breed of astrophysicist, one who can speak as easily and brilliantly with popular audiences as with professional scientists. Great book for a great price. Shipped quickly, but only packed in a poly bag, so the book suffered some mild corner damage in shipping. Aside from that, the book matched the description of its condition and I’m happy overall. Great seller!

AAAA++++ SELLER!!!! Book was shipped very quickly and item price was also good. My only complaint is the shipping packaging. This book came loosely placed in a plastic bag so I can't tell if the damage to the dust jacket happened in shipping or it was already in that condition. But, as I already stated, the overall price was good so I shouldn't really complain. Overall, I've had positive experience with hpb-ruby so I'd still definitely recommend buying from them.

Item arrived in perfect condition, book was exactly as described however the cards were not with it so I needed to return the book. Seller understood and refuned without an issue. Return went successful and great communication about the situation with seller. I would recommend this seller as they give great feedback response and understood situation as well as beng well mannered and very understanding. The book was exactly as described, I just needed the cards too, so no use for book. Refunded
