Product Information
Marking the end of an era, the 1964 Bermuda Crown is the last to be produced in the country before converting from the pound sterling currency to the dollar currency in 1970. Only 470,000 of these coins were produced, composed of 50 percent silver. On one side of this relatively large coin is the crowned bust of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the words Dei Gratia Regina (By the Grace of God, Queen, and Elizabeth II). The other side proclaims the motto of Bermuda, Qua Fata Ferunt (Whither the Fates Carry Us), written below the country's coat of arms. One Bermuda Crown is written in English above the coat of arms. The weight of this coin is 22.62 grams with an actual silver weight of 0.3636 ounces.Product Key Features
