I was a little worried when it arrived with absolutely no charge on the battery, but after charging it seems to be holding a charge well, a worry for an older battery in a refurbished product. In addition the player was in good shape (no scratches) and seems to play audiobooks just fine. I don't use it for music.

I tested all functions including battery life, and all work excellently / as expected. Considering that you cant find these new anymore, this is a great purchase! HIGH MARKS FOR THIS SELLER!

Also I play music constantly for over 8 hours without needing a recharge. On a pc you can open and transfer files just like a mem stick. Sweet little unit.
