I was a little worried when it arrived with absolutely no charge on the battery, but after charging it seems to be holding a charge well, a worry for an older battery in a refurbished product. In addition the player was in good shape (no scratches) and seems to play audiobooks just fine. I don't use it for music.

I was skeptical that they might be used units packaged up and sold as refurbished. The dead giveaway is that with this product, after a couple years, the USB connection to PC starts to get flaky. It takes alot of plugging and replugging to get the connection to happen solid enough to transfer files. I didn't have any of those problems here.

I tested all functions including battery life, and all work excellently / as expected. Considering that you cant find these new anymore, this is a great purchase! HIGH MARKS FOR THIS SELLER!

I kept what i was sent as what i was sent was half the value of what i purchased. They gave me market price refund on the difference. So all and all seems to be good people that work here.
