When I received it does have the layered off squared at the back where personalization was removed, in addition it had 2 scratches on the screen. I cleaned the iPad and applied an anti glare screen and I can’t even tell where the scratches are now. Device works perfectly. Touch ID is perfect as well. Really happy with device for a lower cost option to the mini iPad.
