It's small and has a fan to provide cooling. It has a number of terminals for output, which is convenient. Now, why not a better rating? First, it has a very small adjustment pot that is hard to trim to an exact voltage. Second, it lacks a voltage readout screen. Literally another dollar worth of parts would make this a really competitive power supply.
