There are few events more exciting to a schoolroom full of young students than an upcoming class trip, away from their regular school routines, and so there are few tasks more demanding of a good teacher than keeping children attentive and focused as they sit at their desks and look forward to such an adventure. In Imagine: Teacher -- Class Trip, this is the challenge that players face. In the role of the teacher, the player works with her students in the classroom all morning, before leading them on a special outing in the afternoon. She must select the lesson from subjects including math, science, and geography, and try to keep her students' attention as the subject is taught. Teachers must also grade their student assignments. When it's finally time to leave the schoolroom for the big class trip, the teacher remains responsible for keeping her students focused and learning. The class goes on an outdoor "treasure hunt," from the forest to the lakeshore, and competes against other classes. The teacher can select their best students to take pop quizzes along the way, and must watch out for tricks and traps that might lead her students astray from the educational opportunities that the trip offers. Ubisoft's Imagine line is aimed at providing career-oriented games for girls, and includes titles for multiple handheld and home computer gaming platforms.
