The piece had been very carefully wrapped so it wouldn't break, with newspaper, bubble wrap, additional stuffing in the box, and a heavy cardboard box. Unfortunately, the piece still arrived broken. I contacted the seller that day, sending pictures, and he responded within hours and initiated a refund of my money. I am hoping that he will find another one similar to this piece, and I can purchase from him again.
