When it arrived it was in a cheap plastic box wrapped with bubble wrap. The clasp on one side would not close. I had to take it to a jeweler to fix it. In my opinion it should have arrived in a jewelry box not a plastic box with bubble wrap. In the condition it arrived i could not have presented it to my friend as a gift. It looked like i picked it up in a garage sale
