It is a reconditioned device, but appears brand new except for the clearly labelled box showing that it was reconditioned. After updating the software and mapping to the latest versions, it is working perfectly, and has additional useful fuctions compared to my previous Garmin device. I do not hesitate to recommend this seller, and will certainly consider them in future.
