After carful inspection of the batteries included, one of the negative poles on one of the batteries had corroded. After replacing the faulty battery, both units (i.e., Main & Remote) once powered up immediately synced. Thus, I offer my most humble apology to Mestar Decor and their staff for the confusion I caused in my request to return the Nulksen Wireless Meat Thermometer.
