Spartacus: Vengeance is a DVD three-disc set of the complete Season 2 of the action-adventure television series Spartacus. This action-adventure series details Spartacus and his fellow gladiators after they escape the slavery of the gladiatorial training school. The gladiators are able to flee after killing their master Batiatus in Season 1 of the series, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Spartacus: Vengeance picks up as these men leave the training center and start their mission of revenge against the brutal Roman Empire. This gripping action-adventure series was created by Steven S. DeKnight and was filmed in New Zealand. After the death of the actor Andy Whitfield, who portrayed Spartacus in Season 1, Liam McInytre took over that role in Spartacus: Vengeance. The series also features Lucy Lawless as Lucretia, Viva Manu Bennett as Crixus, and Peter Mensah as Oenomaus. This three-disc set offers all 10 episodes of Season 2.
