There were some settings that were not described properly and needed Sherlock Holmes -ish deduction to get the device configured. Clues being: "edit the options.txt file as per instructions" and "Tor-Eirik Bakke Lunde is the designer of this Pi1541 HAT". There also seem to be some interference on display C64 is connected to when the Pi1541 HAT is running. The power source provided may be the reason. I like the device and all problems seem to be correctable.

I just had to insert the Raspberry Pi, and everything ran perfectly. Very nicely constructed - expertly done. Even included the power and serial cables I needed to get it running and connecting to the C64!Fast delivery too. An excellent seller!
