Product Information
The Escaflowne series follows the exploits of a young schoolgirl, Hitomi Konzaki, who is an ordinary enough high school student until a column of light transports Hitomi to a strange world called Gaea. Hitomi aligns herself with a young knight named Van, who she saw in a vision prior to being transported, and they begin a perilous journey with Escaflowne, the legendary god of protection. In these episodes, Hitomi and Van join the Freid Dukedom's retreat to a temple of warrior monks. The Duke Freid does not wish to divulge the secrets of Atlantis, but he may have to unless Hitomi and Van can help him stop Emperor Dornkirk. Available in edited (as seen on the Fox Kids Network) and unedited versions.
