When I was young we used leaf springs, and broke the beads with another vehicle driving around the edge of the rim. This works to break the bead, and the stand is handy for getting the tire off the rim. So it paid for itself already.

It is just knowing how to use it and take your time and using dawn dish washing mixed with water and giving it time to work in your favor.. I would give this tool a 5 star rating out of five..Thanks!
