I had to disassemble the chuck, mount it on my lathe, take 1/2 a thou off the male member of the swivel joint, then take 5 thou off the female member be for the joint would move smoothly. The hole in female member was oblong by 30 thou. Not a precision part. The total runout is still 3 thou. On the bright side, the live stud on the mt2 taper was great.

I ordered the two chucks with a promise DELIVERY date of end of August. You can imagine my astonishment at receiving them in 5 days from New Delhi, India to the Highlands of Scotland. The parts are excellently finished, well packed and runout on the lathe appears good. A SUPERB service with great value - VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - AAAAA*****
