Product Information

Freely mixing genres and tones, TOKYO UNDERGROUND is an action anime that has been compared to the popular FLAME OF RECCA. Rumina meets Ruri and Chelsea as they are escaping a mysterious city deep beneath Tokyo. Agreeing to help them, Rumina is drawn into battles with the villains chasing the two women. Luckily, he knows how to defend himself, and what's more, contact with Ruri's magical powers unlock his own latent ability to control the wind. Amazed by this turn of events, Rumina decides to aid the two escaped underground dwellers in any way he can. THE PROMISE is the third volume collecting the anime series, and features four episodes. In these episodes, Ruri and her bodyguard Shiel have been separated from Rumina and must find a way back to him. Unfortunately, their enemy, the warrior Pairon, stands in the way!
