I put a dab of Permatex on the gasket to hold it while I installed the plate. Unit came with a quality WEX filter. Not sure when shipping got so high, $12 for a $44 part, 1/4 the price of the part. This is not the only company with high shipping cost but it did arrive quickly and undamaged. .

The only problem was the threads on the new piece that screws into the block were marred and caused me some issues trying to screw on the oil filter. I was lucky enough to get someone who had a 3/4 16 tap and we were able to clean the threads and make the item work.

The seller is fantastic to work with and seems very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for your part needs.The arm rests are great quality and appearance.
