For the first time since his 1980 release 80/81, guitarist Pat Metheny has recorded with a band that features tenor saxophone. Unity Band introduces a new Metheny ensemble with Chris Potter on sax and bass clarinet, longtime collaborator Antonio Sanchez on drums, and the up-and-coming Ben Williams on bass. The album features nine new Metheny compositions.

    Signed 1st edition hardcover of "The Fall of Hyperion," by Dan Simmons arrived not quite as pictured & described due to packaging insufficient to weather the challenges of the USPS. Wrapped in layers of foam wrap, sandwiched between 2 small pieces of cardboard & placed in a bubble mailer was not enough to prevent a hard bump to the book. At $300+ I'd expect a box. I did request a box in purchase comments. Beautiful book marred by USPS & no box. Got a good deal on it, though. Return was offered.
