This PowerFlex Architecture Class Ethernet/IP to DPI communication adapter is suitable for a range of application types. Allen-Bradley 20-COMM-E adapter module offers a Multi-Drive feature that allows you to connect PowerFlex 4 drives and DSI hosts to the Ethernet/IP. In Multi-Drive Mode, a single 20-COMM-E can command up to five other drives on a 2 wire DSI protocol network. The adapter offers single or multi drive modes, 10 or 100 Mbps, and full /half duplex operation. The module is designed for use with PowerFlex 70, 700, 700H, 700S, 700L, 750 series and PowerFlex DC. PowerFlex 750 requires a 20-750-20 or 20-750-20-F1 Comm Carrier Card. This model is capable of commanding a PowerFlex drive and provides higher performance for web, email, diagnostics, parameter access and full DPI network bridging for I/O devices. This 20-COMM-E brand has an Ethernet connector that is CAT-5 compliant for reliable data transfer on 100Base-TX Ethernet Connections. Data drive rates are 125 or 500 Kbps. This Ethernet/IP to DPI communication adapter meets several standards. This model is UL listed, CE certified and c-Tick marked. The 20-COMM-E for PowerFlex drives features switches for Operating Mode and Web Pages, so users can select the mode of operation and enable or disable the adapter web pages. The 20-COMM-E Industrial Control System is designed for ease of operating, flexibility and control. The device is equipped with four LED indicators to simplify monitoring the status of the system. There are LED indicators for the Ethernet connection, adapter and DSI. The LED lights blink to indicate a problem with the unit.
