The most exciting feature on this Sony EVID30 is the Auto Tracking mode, which allows users to pre-define a subject. The compact camera can then extract the defined subject. The AT feature is enhanced by the AT-PAN/TILT function which allows this Sony film camera to follow the specified subject's movements smoothly. The auto zoom will make sure the subject remains the same size throughout filming. The camera has a time/date generating feature, as well as six position presets to make using this camera easy and effortless. This Sony EVID30 has an IR remote commander, full control without touching the camera during filming. This compact camera weighs 1200 g and measures 142 x 109 x 164 mm. Additionally, this Sony film camera features auto exposure and motion detection. The motion detector uses both color and brightness to accurately detect the subject. All the automatic features allow even the novice user to create excellent results using the Sony EVID30.
