Notes
Machine Head's sound demands attention, and Hellalive, their first live album, doesn't just tap you on the shoulder to get it, rather it slaps you upside the head with a roaring fist. They seem to capture a decade of uncomprimising metal on one live album or seventy-eight minutes of blistering music. What the band have captured on this record is nothing short of raw energy stripped down to it's purest form. Machine Head has created an album that takes heaviness to the extremes.
