Product Information

This dark and disturbing Animé reveals an underworld of vampires and explores the mysterious connection that binds people to the inexplicable forces of life. Tohno Shiki is a high school kid who suffered a grave ailment as a child. Though he keeps it secret, the illness left him with permanent damage to his vision, which results in seeing lines around objects and people. This ability, which he later learns is known as the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, can only be masked by a special set of glasses which Shiki wears religiously. Shiki meets a woman to whom he is oddly drawn, and unwittingly kills her in a fit of fury. When she returns from the dead, Shiki understands she is a vampire. Many secrets about his past--and strange powers--are revealed.
