The metal is thin and light so good for carrying things when you want to keep weight to a minimum. A couple were very slightly dented from the journey. It would be very easy to fix these. But it doesn't stop the boxes functioning so I'm not going to bother because I just want them to store little things in and they are fine for that. They are still a bargain for the price.
