Product Information
Everyone's favorite stomp- and punch-loving monsters are back in Rampage 2: Universal Tour, which is available only for the Nintendo Game Boy Color. The stars of the original game -- George the giant ape, Ralph the overgrown wolf, and Lizzie the mutated lizard -- have been captured and it's up to a new trio to set them free. Choose from Boris the rhino, Ruby the lobster, or Curtis the rat and wreck cities across North America, Asia and Europe.<br><br>There are three difficulty levels to choose from and each monster has its own strengths and weaknesses as well as special attack and food which will give it a boost of power. Next select one of the locales to start your campaign of global terror and let the stomping begin. You earn points by ripping down buildings, downing helicopters and squashing tanks, and eating hapless citizens. Every wound you suffer diminishes your health meter; if it reaches zero you lose a life. You also have a power meter which flashes when full; if you press select, you'll unleash your special attack.<br><br>As you play, you'll be able to grab power-ups which will boost your strength or health or increase your point total. Watch out for the items which will make you vomit! If you find your character's special food you can eat it to give your health and power meters a super boost.<br><br>If you want to play with a friend who also has the game, you can use a Link Cable and decide whether you want to play competitively or cooperatively. To that you end you can choose whether or not to allow you and your friend to inflict damage on each other and whether or not you want to share lives when someone's lives run out.<br><br>As you complete levels you earn passwords which can be used to return to the same spot later.
