Acerca de este producto
Product Information
About one thousand years ago, Native Americans built hundreds of earthen platform mounds, plazas, residential areas, and other types of monuments in the vicinity of present-day St. Louis. This sprawling complex, known to archaeologists as Cahokia, was the dominant cultural, ceremonial, and trade centre north of Mexico for centuries. This stimulating collection of essays casts new light on the remarkable accomplishments of Cahokia. Timothy R. Pauketat, an associate professor of anthropology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, is the author of 'The Ascent of Chiefs: Cahokia and Mississippian politics in Native North America'. Thomas E. Emerson is director of the Illinois Transportation Archaeological Research Program and an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is coeditor of 'Late Woodland societies: tradition and transformation across the Midcontinent'

- c***c (460)- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Últimos 6 mesesCompra verificadaA reliable and professional seller offering a wide range of items. Not always the cheapest option but certainly a store upon which you can depend. My goods were dispatched promptly, packaged appropriately and, upon receipt, found to be exactly as described. Communication throughout the process was good and I'd have no hesitation in purchasing from here in the future.Possibility (Wonder & Imagination) 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle by Paperblanks Hardco (#146371979206)

The seller was extremely supportive and when l explained that this book did not contain the content that l was looking for l was given a refund which happened very quickly and l offered to send the book back but the seller told me to keep it which l thought was very generous of the seller. I have bought books from this seller before and always had good service and in the future l will purchase again. Thanks to a very good seller.
- u***D- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Últimos 6 mesesCompra verificadaThe item was promptly dispatched in time frame and was in very high quality condition when received. The recipient's name was unfortunately omitted although the address was correct. Very professionally packaged to ensure pristine condition of item. Wish the seller would communicate and reply more frequently to messages if possible on eBay. Otherwise good service overall. I recommend buying from The Nile for competitive prices. The Three Kingdoms of Korea: Lost Civilizations by Richard D. McBride II Hardcov (#135297480023)
