This toy has a little heftiness and weight to it. Nubby rubber body with hard plastic head and tail. Great for larger dogs. My dog definitely couldn't destroy this toy. However, he gnawed on the head and tail long enough that the hard plastic got sharp pieces and some hard plastic particles on the floor. I cut off the sharp pieces. Monitor closely so no harm to pet.
