Unfortunately, the plastic used is not suitable for use in the location on top of the Land Rover dash, where it is subjected to sun and heat through the windscreen. I fitted it on a Thursday evening, and by Sunday morning, the base had warped and the sliding section had deformed, making it almost impossible to get the throne in and out.
