Unfortunately the book did arrive with some corner damage, as shown in the photos. I think this was an issue with the packaging not being robust enough for a book of this size. Though it is hard to tell from the original listing's photos whether this damage was already there. Good initial communication that eased purchase. Postage, by definition given final destination, is going to be relatively high.
