However, the description stated the clarinet is suitable for beginners and intermediate students, but there is a cork that will need replacing as the piece rocks when put together. Also there is damage by the thumb rest that looks like epoxy. I bought it for my granddaughter. If it plays I will consider it a good value. Waiting on reeds and hoping for the best…

The item came as described and the images in the post were true to the condition of the item. I have not had a chance to play the item yet -- but I can see no evidence that the instrument is not playable. I will probably take it in for a general tune-up at some point just because that is a good thing to do.
