The sides of the case is flush with the phone sadly. The top and bottom of the case are a little more raised which is good. My last case like this for my older iPhone had a high lip all the way around. Guess these cases have now changed. Other than that it’s a great case. It fits well. I HIGHLY recommend a tempered glass screen protector!!! So happy the seller provided that with the case!

Just apply light pressure on screen protector as it clings from the top, to make sure the 4 edges doesn't enclose air bubble(s) inside as it auto clings to the screen. two caution, one, the charging port opening it's too small, only fits the mini Apple OEM usb-c cable. Two, the case add a couple inches on all sides, makes the phone feel much bigger with the case.

I would say that the opening for the camera is a little small and doesn’t sit flush around the camera and rather pushes the back up a little. Was still able to get it to close and the screen protector is good quality. Very fast shipping! Good low cost durable (so far) case for iPhone 16. Can’t beat that price.
