The screws holding the two plastic pieces together get in the way. The bottom will get in the way with any heat sinks on the motherboard like your chipset and the top one will be taller than the card preventing the lid from closing. I do have a version without the screw mounts, this version that you purchased was meant to be versatile with being able to configure it to be left or right facing. Ill send you info on my version that is a single piece without the screw mounts and well make it work. Thanks for the info once again!
