Preamp is pretty noisy, but I will address that directly with yamaha, not sellers issue. One thing I will say is that you should know that seller passes on import fee, so I was sent an invoice for an additional $60 from fedex. Not a big Deal because it was a great price, just an fyi for newbies of international sales. After I ordered the item, he immediately acknowledged it, keeping me posted and ultimately letting me know it is being labeled ready for pick up by FedEx. This is my 4th attempt to buy this item of this color and the first 3 did not happen for various reasons. I got refunded though on all those 3 previous ones. Am a very happy customer of Mr. Japan2021.
