Surrounding himself with an all-new band, Grimmett recently completed a 22-date North American tour. The trek included stops in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Antonio, and Austin. Due to it's success, the band recently announced a planned return in the autumn 2016 to support the new album after release. Singer Grimmett serves as the lone original member of the group and his pipes sound ageless on the title track which can be heard above. - Dusting off the glory days of the early heavy metal scene, "Walking in the Shadows" opens up with riff plucked straight off the streets, followed by a quick guitar solo before continuing on with the feature lick. With gang shouts trading off with Grimmett in the pre-chorus, the tension builds, released by the sing-song chorus of "Take my hand / Follow me / Don't look back / Walking in the shadows!" - Grim Reaper originally split up in 1988, only to be resurrected by Grimmett with an entirely new lineup in 2006. Touring over the last decade with members of his solo outfit backing him under the Grim Reaper moniker, Grimmett has finally delivered the album he had been promising fans for quite some time.
