They are new, I got 4 pair of the glasses. They were shipped unprotected in a thin envelope but made it safely somehow (they were squashed). So the shipping price of $7 seems a bit high. They function as stated but do not perform as I expected. If you want something to last over time and function well, I recommend buying better quality. But they do work and i can’t complain for 4 pairs for the price!
