I received 3 false tracking notification from USPS that the package had arrived. The tracking looked legitimate (not sure how the seller was able to do this). I started a claim with eBay which I prevailed (thank you eBay!). The seller kept contacting me with, “the statue is on its way” and “a small mix up”. In hind site it’s obvious the seller was attempting to keep me from filing a claim with eBay before the deadline.

Seller contacted me without consent on WhatsApp asking me to pay through Stripe instead of eBay (which I thankfully did not do). He never shipped my painting and even sent eBay a fake tracking number. I was refunded through eBay as the item never arrived and he failed to respond or communicate. I’ve reported him to eBay for the off-site payment request and privacy violation
