Enhanced and re-released for Game Boy Color in 1998, Final Fantasy Adventure stands alongside classics like The Legend of Zelda as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Play as a young gladiator who escapes his captors on a mission to find a secret pendant that will save his mortally wounded friend. There is plenty of action as our hero faces off against the Dark Lord and the beasts and monsters under his control while travelling through caves, forests and other treacherous terrain. One of the intriguing aspects of the game is its inclusion of puzzles as a detours through a foreboding dungeon becomes a challenge for the mind as players navigate difficult mazes and search for hidden passageways. Throughout the game, users can upgrade their armor and collect a vast collection of weapons while also applying bonus points to areas such as power, wisdom, or stamina.
