North America was settled by people with distinct religious, political, and ethnographic characteristics, creating regional cultures that have been at odds with one another ever since. Subsequent immigrants didn't confront or assimilate into an "American" or "Canadian" culture, but rather into one of the eleven distinct regional ones that spread over the continent each staking out mutually exclusive territory. In American Nations, Colin Woodard leads us on a journey through the history of our fractured continent, and the rivalries and alliances between its component nations, which conform to neither state nor international boundaries.     Shipping a Britannica set coast to coast is not easy, but the seller did an excellent job. First, the books were carefully cleaned. Then, they were wrapped in plastic in pairs, then wrapped again into cubes. They were then surrounded by several layers of heavy foam sheets, and placed in stout cardboard boxes. The post office tried their darndest to destroy one of the three boxes, but all of the books arrived in perfect condition. I definitely recommend booksforbrainsllc. Thank you!

    Ordered book on 4/30 contacted seller 3 days later to confirm shipping & again 2 days later. No response. Filed claim with eBay for refund, seller finally shipped book one day before eBay intervention. Almost 3 weeks to get book. Never bothered to contact me to explain, apologize, nothing. Not only a violation of eBay policy, but really unprofessional & inconsiderate. eBay really needs to start policing sellers like this. Will not buy from this seller again!
