I will say that I wonder if smaller holes and more of them on the shipping box would have helped them have a better chance of survival and more cushioning. But overall first time buyer so not a bad experience.

But, if you feed aquarium fishes (cannot comment on others), consider not to order them in this package. They arrived in the plastic mash bag (nice bag), newspaper as a substrate. If you need to keep mealworms a live for couple of days, you will have to relocated them into a different container, A BIG MESS. No orders from this supplier for me until there is a change the shipping methods for fish feeding applications.
