I wish I had the Nintendo Switch Online NES controllers for comparison (but then again, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this if I did). Works great on the Switch. Pairing was straightforward with the included dongle (yes, that’s the only negative). Attached is a comparison photo of the OG NES, Hyperkin Cadet, and Origin8. The d-pad is slightly larger but you don’t notice. Highly recommended!

It takes a little bit of work to pair, but follow the instructions closely and it will be paired permanently to your Nintendo Switch. I play the original Mario games on NES emulator on Switch with this controller and it works like a charm!

Overall experience would be a 4 out of 5. I took a star away cuz during the buying process the item had a “best offer” option. Everytime I made an offer, it would be auto-declined. It kept auto-declining until I got within like .50 cents of the buy it now price. Like why would you even have best offer as an option, only to be declined all the way until it gets to the asking price.
