I have no idea how it works but I'm having fun reliving some childhood memories, and finding fan translations of games that never made it to the states. Seems like good value for the money to me.

Too long long time to ship though, but I suppose that was to be expected being international from China. Took 3 weeks. Came in good condition and given the value of other everdrives, this is insane. Sadly wish it came in the color of the model 1 Sega Saturn in Japan, but otherwise looks just fine.

I was worried that the item was defective until I re-read the instructions and then following the directions I fixed the problem. That being said, the warehouse did send the wrong color.
