My choice for cordless tools is Ridgid so I have several 4 amp batteries on hand. Until now I have been using a deep-cycle RV battery. It worked, however, the RV battery is heavy and expensive to replace, not to mention, “overkill” for my purpose. I ran my transfer pump (15 amp draw) for several minutes using this converter without a hiccup… worked great.
