Eight CD boxset containing seven studio albums and one live album. Influential as both a singer and composer, he is commonly known as 'the King of Soul' for his distinctive vocals and importance within popular music. Like most R&B artists of his time, Sam Cooke focused on singles, he had 29 top 40 hits on the pop charts and even more on the R&B charts. Albums 1 to 6 are remastered by Vic Anesini, 7 and 8 by Bob Ludwig, both highly respected and revered names.
