This Stronghold PC game combines real-time strategy with building simulation, making for a very unique gaming experience. In Stronghold for Windows, players must strategize how to keep their citizens happy with food and protection while building their army and defending their kingdom from attack. If the gamer is the pacifist type, though, he or she may simply build a kingdom and live in peace in Stronghold. Or, if they are in the mood for a fight, players must defend themselves against vile opponents such as The Pig, The Snake, The Rat, and The Wolf. Each of these enemies has different strategies, so the player of Stronghold for Windows must adapt, keep the people safe from invasion, and overthrow the abominable adversary in this Renaissance-themed game.
