The project finds its own lane between a little bit country, and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, and is without a doubt meant to be turned up. This Is The Heavy is also heavy in the sense that the lyrics have weight. Within these songs are the stories behind both good and bad memories – exciting times in his life and ones that were tougher to get through. With this album Mitchell finds himself grown up and in a new phase of life as a touring musician, family man and soon-to-be married man. Balancing it all can get heavy.     A brand new sealed import CD was purchased on 9-5, shipped on 9-15, and delivered by USPS Media Mail on 9-18. Item received was brand new as listed and arrived undamaged shipped inside a plastic padded envelope. Apparently Movie Mars does not keep stock on hand and orders stock from their suppliers when a customer places an order, hence the long wait time to ship. The new and undamaged condition of CD received and the reasonable price offered made for a satisfactory purchasing experience.
